Saturday Night Live had the real Sarah Palin on SNL last night! Who was really that certain, this event would actually take place?

Did Sarah Palin and Tina Fey embrace backstage as sisters from different mothers?

Sarah Palin was all set to appear on the show, yet Saturday Night Live would not confirm anything to the media .

Who wouldn’t have wanted to be that fly on the wall, in the SNL when Sarah Palin showed up? Did they have to kill off a couple of skits? Was the Saturday Night Live staff on their best behavior? Was Sarah Palin on her best behavior?

For myself, I was just glad that Palin showed up! Either Palin was very naive, or she had a lot of courage to be on this episode of SNL. There was always the distinct possibility that almost anything could have happened on SNL last night, yet everything did fall into place like clockwork. Rats!

It was the last “News Update” skit, with Sarah Palin in it, that had a few different news commentators wondering, early this morning, if SNL had pushed Palin too far with her refusing to do a skit; as planned.

All things considered, I am more than satisfied that Governor Palin was not set to do this rap skit at all. This skit seems to have aired live, intact as originally planned.
